Customer Rating: Summary: Short but Sweet Comment: Amusing book, a little short, but packs quite a few laughs in. Its great to just sit out to let a friend read. For this price, its worth it.
Customer Rating: Summary: A fun flipper sure to entertain! Comment: Lonely Planet Signspotting is a sure laugh-getter to share with friends. Bring it to work with you and it will be the sensation of the break room for a couple of days as everyone passes it around.
There are lots of hysterical photos of signs -- the sort of things you sometimes notice in passing and wish you had a camera to capture as evidence, yourself. Guaranteed, you'll enjoy this book.
Customer Rating: Summary: Hilarious! Comment: Great book! Kept me cracking up for a long time. #2 is very good too! I really hope more like these will follow.
Customer Rating: Summary: Made laugh till I cried Comment: I stood in a book store that shall remain nameless and read most of this book. I was laughing out loud and giggling shamelessly. I love this kind of stuff and I will be sending this book out as gifts for my friends that I know also appreciate this kind of humour. Many of the signs are just poor English but even more of them are just such mysteries as to why they were ever printed... love it.
Customer Rating: Summary: A good little diversion Comment: A lot of fun and, unfortunately, you don't have to go very far when traveling in the Middle East or Africa to see some entertaining signs (and I'm not just talking "camel xing" either). I'm glad someone thought to put this collection together!

As anyone who has spent time on the road knows, you often have to depend on signs...to navigate through a town, locate your hotel, even obey the law a scary thought if you've ever come across any of the publicly posted absurdities that appear in this book. Signs about as easy to understand as a Swahili auctioneer (to a non-Swahili speaker) or as well-planned as the dance steps in a mosh pit with the help of signspotters around the globe, we've assembled a collection of some of the most unintentionally entertaining postings on the planet - we hope they confuse and amuse you!
