Summary: Very Helpful & Informative
Comment: For several years I've been using the Fodor's published books when going on vacation and wouldn't consider another product. When planning my visit to Arizona (having never been there) it was very helpful and detailed. The book is organized very well and now contains comments that have been submitted by other travelers. The book also contains a LOT of information about the Grand Canyon.

Summary: Great
Comment: I first reviewed this book from our public library then decided to buy it for myself to use over and over again as a reference.

Summary: excellent vacation planner
Comment: This book is easy to follow, wisely laid out and super for details in planning a vacation no matter for how long, a week or a weekend. It is a little scant on hiking trail information like the level of difficulty or actual lengths. It could provide a trail guide, but these are also available on other sites and this book does provide much more than just what a trail guide book would.

Editorial Reviews:

With more than 29 million visitors last year, Arizona continues to lure travelers with its varied attractions. People come to explore the outdoors and the state’s three national parks, they visit the outstanding museums and galleries, learn about Navajo and Hopi culture, and, usually, try the tequila. And that’s just for starters.

·Each chapter opens with illustrated orientation and planning pages that include a map, Top Reasons To Go, and other essential information to help visitors plan time and vacation details effectively
·Enhanced and expanded park coverage for the Grand Canyon, the Petrified Forest, and Sagauro National Park includes detailed park profiles, increased hiking coverage and new trail maps
