Summary: BEST TRAVEL GUIDES.
Comment: EYEWITNESS TRAVEL GUIDES are the best guides you could find. I've bought every one they have published to the places I have visited, and always know where I want to go and what are the most important places to visit,
with the pictures and 3D images of the buildings and maps I don't get surprises as to visit a place not worth while. You optimize your travel time. I have about twenty of their guides, just hope they increase the places they review in the near future.

Comment: A beautiful, comprehensive overview of Brazil, but some maps are lacking in details. I always have liked "Eyewitness" for their wonderful maps ... however maps, especially for Rio de Janiero could be easier to use. This is a heavy book to carry traveling .... perhaps should have been published as two volumes?

Comment: I just picked this up at our local Costco. It was $18 there - but you never know if it will be in stock or not so I'd stick with Amazon. We are going to Brazil in August and will definitely take this with us. We've used several of the Eyewitness books in the past for our European travels and they've never let us down and have always been better than the other travel books that we've picked up along the way. The graphics are perfect, we love the blown up street maps of the popular tourist destinations, and they are filled with tons of helpful tips! Definitely a win-win situation for all!
